When we have the space and capacity to listen, there is always something new being revealed.
Join facilitators, Ruthi Knight and Tamara Shantz, as we hold space for this revealing through a contemplative, intuitive, creative process guided by the wisdom of the Enneagram.
At the heart of working with the Enneagram is an invitation to encounter our own sacred beauty and inner wholeness; something that we often struggle to see and experience. The retreat will begin by grounding us in this beauty, move us into a tender holding of our wounds, and end with listening for the invitation of love.
*Some knowledge of the Enneagram is recommended for participation*
What to Expect….What is a creative process?
We are ALL creators. This creative contemplative experience is open to everyone, whether or not you consider yourself an artist.
Using an intuitive creative process, we will create a layered piece of “process” art that reveals our sacred beauty. We will have a wide range of mixed media art supplies available and also the surrounding natural world to forage for inspiration.
We just ask you to bring curiosity and openness (and we’ll ask our inner critics to stay a safe distance away).
Intuitive process art is about the experience rather than the finished product. It is about listening deeply to ourselves and the voice of Love, then giving ourselves the creative permission to express whatever arises, using colour, symbols, words or collage. We may find ourselves drawn to a certain shade of blue, have the desire to trace a leaf, or decide to baptize our creation in the lake. As we move throughout the day, we’ll allow space to wander outside, move our bodies, sit in silence, or get our hands covered in paint.
When we tune in to our souls, what we create reveals a sacred beauty that invites us deeper into wholeness.

About the Facilitators:
Ruthi has a poet-heart, a curious mind, and a companion-soul. She loves to explore the depths through conversation, wandering and creative connection.
These days she spends her time writing, being an aunti, and growing an excessive amount of tomatoes.
Tamara is a spiritual director and Enneagram facilitator who loves creating space for contemplation and inner listening. She is enlivened by building community with others through spiritual exploration.
Tamara enjoys knitting, spending time with her cats, and sometimes has a tendency to watch too much fluffy television.
